Application Security Review

The objective of  Critical Defence’s Application Security Review is to provide a comprehensive review and validation of your organization’s web-application security posture.

During this exercise, Critical Defence’s Risk Management Group identifies and documents various areas of risk and potential weakness along with appropriate recommendations for risk mitigation and remediation.

Critical Defence conducts an application review from two perspectives including:

  • A zero-knowledge or blind (i.e. outsider with now account access or specific information) view and

  • An authorized user (i.e. with specific account access and with varying levels of credentials)

Within both scenarios, Critical Defence will identify potential vulnerabilities and look to exploit each to gain unauthorized access and or compromise of the application, supporting element, or data integrity.

Critical Defence’s Web-Application Security Assessment offers a comprehensive examination and testing of your organization’s web-application. Critical Defence’s Risk Management Group attempts to breach the customer’s application via (either or both) secure or insecure channels simulating unauthorized access to critical and confidential data, system resources, and also initiating functionality perversion.
