Security Awareness Training

Most organizations have already invested heavily in the latest firewalls and other advanced security technologies. Yet losses to security breaches continue to grow each year. This is because the problem is not as much with the security technology, as it is with the lack of security awareness among users.

All too often the breaches that information security professionals have to deal with are caused by users opening an email attachment with a virus that replicates itself across the enterprise, forgetting to backup critical files, using weak passwords, losing laptops with confidential data, or being tricked into giving up their passwords through social engineering techniques.

Training end-users to learn how to properly identify and respond to security threats is one of the most significant challenges facing the enterprise today. It is commonly accepted today that over 70% of risk comes from inside the organization. By deploying an employee security awareness training program, your organization can greatly diminish the risk exposure to these various internal and personnel related threats.

Critical Defence’s comprehensive, easy to understand Corporate Security Awareness Training Program will drive integration of security into your organization’s culture. This program has been specifically designed and already adopted successfully by many satisfied organizations. Critical Defence’s Security Awareness Training program was designed per NIST specifications and also includes captivating illustrations, activities, real-world stories and examples.

The program features how-to instructions, facts, and scenarios that will empower your organization’s staff with realistic defensive strategies that can be utilized immediately.

Training may be given to staff working at various levels from within the organization. As a general rule of thumb, training is not specific to employee hierarchy level. Training can be delivered to live audiences on-site or via Webex Internet Conferencing.

All Critical Defence Security Awareness Training Programs are delivered by well known security experts who are employed by Critical Defence (presenter biography, resumes, interviews and references are always provided in advance of any Critical Defence Training session).
